In this case study, I successfully got a complaint against a contractor dismissed by filing a motion to dismiss based on the Plaintiff's failure to move for default judgment within the required one-year period. Despite significant delays in filing the affidavit of service and motion for default, the court ruled in favor of my client. This case highlights the importance of adhering to legal deadlines and how procedural failures can lead to a case’s dismissal.
